A motion branding project designed around a start-up 
music TV channel, self-created for the youth generations.


With almost no prior experience with After Effects or motion branding in general, 
and only 6 weeks to complete, this project came as a great challenge and a welcome 
opportunity to further my skills, and develop an interest in motion graphics. 

The brief required the submission of three, 4-second idents and a portrait sting, 
to be used between shows and on social media. Alongside this, I designed 
a couple of slick logo animations to sell the brand identity.

Curated as a radical, alternative escape for music-heads and 80s wannabes, 
this channel aims to encourage different and inspire creativity. A political detox 
and escape from reality, Lucid (LCD) follows three main themes within its production
- Lead, Change and Dream; each of these are reflected within it’s three main idents.
